When Susan's fiance Brian
dumps Susan for her sister Martha,
Susan's reaction is a bit unconventional...
She goes to the dogs. And when they ask her to be maid-of-honor she starts to think she is one -- and takes a bite out of her sister's wedding!
Enter Dr. Agatha Slocum, a therapist (who could use a little therapy herself).
Agatha calls in Dr. Reginald Ross, a canine therapist, and realizes her chance to kill two birds with one bone: cure Susan, and win at last the heart of the man she has always stalked - er, loved.
But Susan still has a few bones to pick of her own. And Dr. Ross discovers something he didn't know he was looking for: the unconditional love of a woman who thinks she is a dog.
Or maybe they've all come down with a serious case of HEARTWORM!

| Mr Perry Tannenbaum, Performing Arts Editor for Creative Loafing wrote, "We couldn't park in the Theatre Charlotte driveway when Nanci Hightower's new play opened last week." "There are proven commercial ingredients in the script itself: enough character quirks to populate a George S. Kaufman comedy and elements of fantasy that might remind theatregoers of Prelude To A Kiss or Sylvia." |
